Ten years ago, Exeter’s businesses united to form the Business Improvement District (BID), harnessing the collective power of a single voice to drive positive change. Since them we’ve invested over £5 million into the city, enhancing the public realm, supporting local businesses, and making Exeter a better place to live, work, and visit.

Yet, our journey is far from over. As we look ahead, we’re committed to delivering even more for our members. Our new Business Plan for 2025-2030 has been shaped by your feedback and focuses on the priorities that matter most to you. From ensuring a safer Exeter to enhancing the city through cleaning and planting to enhanced marketing campaigns and targeted business support, our plans for the next five years are bold and ambitious.

What we do.

InExeter is a not-for-profit organisation, funded and led by you, our local business members. Our mission is to support and enhance Exeter’s business environment, ensuring that our city remains a destination of choice for residents, visitors, and investors alike.
