A range of enhancements were organised to celebrate South Street

Thanks to grants from Safer Exeter’s Community Sparks scheme, InExeter planned a range of initiatives on South Street. The project was called ‘South Street Shine’ as the plans collectively shined a light on South Street, celebrating the area and facilitating it to flourish. The project included an interactive art installation designed by local artist Scott Walker, the repainting of the existing bench seating and pop-up planters to be adopted by South Street businesses bringing more colour and vibrancy to the area.
