Christmas Lights.

Every year, InExeter transforms our city into a winter wonderland with our enchanting Christmas light display. Thanks to the generous contributions of businesses throughout the city, we're able to illuminate the streets and spread festive cheer to residents and visitors alike.

From mid-November, the streets of InExeter come alive with twinkling lights, creating a magical atmosphere that captures the spirit of the season. Our Christmas lights extend from Fore Street to Sidwell Street, illuminating key areas including Magdalen Road, Gandy Street, Queen Street, Paris Street, North Street, and South Street.

In total, our city is adorned with 262 metres of dazzling LED curtains and 618 metres of mesmerising LED cluster lights. As you wander through the streets, you'll also encounter 56 wall-hung Christmas trees, gracing picturesque locations like Gandy Street and Magdalen Road. And all of our lights are energy-efficient, ensuring that we celebrate the season responsibly.

In recent years, visitors have been delighted by our magnificent 10-meter Christmas tree, a true symbol of the holiday season. Don't miss the chance to walk through our giant bauble adorned with snowflake decorations or snap a photo with the iconic Exeter Letters, adding to the festive charm of our city.

Join us as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year and experience the joy of Christmas in InExeter. From dazzling lights to iconic landmarks, there's something for everyone to enjoy as we come together to create unforgettable memories.
