This market has earned a reputation as a haven for bargain hunters, offering a diverse array of one-of-a-kind treasures and local gems. The Fore Street Flea is a casual affair (by comparison to some other markets); it is open to everyone who wants to sell so we get a real mix from pro traders to someone clearing out their wardrobe. It tends to mean that shoppers/browsers come with wider expectations in terms of what they expect to find and we get a bigger mix in terms of the range of items being sold which is what makes this market so special.
This is an uncurated market
We do not screen or filter traders. This adds to the market’s charm, making each event unique. It does also mean that sometimes there are multiple traders selling similar products.
First come, first served
Booking for a market is on a first-come, first-served basis. On the day of the event, pitch locations allocated on a rolling basis as traders arrive, so we cannot guarantee that you won’t be near someone selling similar items or in a specific part of the road.
The event runs from 12-4 pm
Stallholders can set up from 10 am. Each market features 80-90 pitches spread throughout the street, and we aim to include live music, entertainment, and food at each event. If you are a musician or artist interested in performing at a Flea, please contact us.
