Events
InExeter run and manage city centre events to draw footfall, create a better perception of Exeter and support business. In 2022, InExeter brought back Exeter Carnival to the city after 24 years. The carnival brought the whole community together, the event saw people travel into the city that otherwise would not have visited and benefitted more businesses than the traditional light switch on. Other events include the Secret Events that encourage people to discover new things in the city and Green Coat Tours which introduce residents and students to the city and inspire them to explore Exeter. InExeter also commission filming and drone footage of events and the city centre.
Markets in Exeter
Here at InExeter, we love a good market! From the Fore Street Flea to the Exeter Independent, markets bring vibrancy and appeal to our streets. From brand new start-ups to established traders, the ever changing nature of markets ensures that there’s always something new and interesting to discover. As well as driving footfall and creating memorable experiences, markets are the perfect way to support small and shop local. But it’s not all business- the markets are also incubators for community- places to meet stall holders and friends and to connect with others.
